Are you a qualified teacher thinking about returning to teach?

SLA - Returning to Teaching School Experience 

SLA can offer you placement days through the School Experience Programme that will give you an insight into our aspirational, inclusive and diverse learning communities.  A placement with us will provide you with valuable classroom experience.  Our Subject areas are well staffed with a mixture of experienced and new colleagues.  You will have the opportunity to observe teaching in your preferred subject and to talk to teachers about day to day life in a school.

Some schools will be offering Teacher Subject Specialism Training (TSST) courses, funded by the Department for Education (DfE) for teachers who are returning / retraining to teach secondary physics, maths or MFL. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/teacher-subject-specialism-training-courses
