University College, Oxford opportunities

PPE (Philosophy, Politics and Economics) Study Day - Tues 14 February.

For students interested in Philosophy, Politics or Economics who are keen to keep their future degree broad, Oxford's PPE course may be just what they are looking for. This study day will allow a taste of this subject and also give students suggestions for how to explore their academic interests beyond school as they prepare to make a University application. Lectures and classes will be run by University College's tutors with titles such as “Do we know anything at all?” and “Is liberalism racist?”. Check out a provisional timetable and details of how to apply on the College's website. Application deadline Tuesday 10 January 2017

Maths, Physics and Engineering Study Day - Mon 20 February

This will be a useful Study Day for any talented Year 12s who love Maths and Physics but don't know which subject to focus on at degree level. It will also be valuable in giving ideas for how students can engage with these subjects beyond school. There will be taster lectures from University College’s tutors as well as smaller interactive classes. This study day will also give attendees a chance to meet current students and explore the College. Check out a provisional timetable and details of how to apply on the College's website. Application deadline: Monday 16 January 2017
