Basketball Final
Posted on: March 14th 2018In the final basketball action this season, the Year 8 Boys Basketball Team hosted Edmonton County in this years’ Borough Basketball Final. It was a fiercely contested match in watch both teams played some outstanding basketball.
At the start of the game Edmonton look an early lead and dominated proceedings, however the second half of the game saw Southgate pull back an 8 point deficit to take the lead by one point. Unfortunately in the dying moments of the game Southgate conceded two late baskets and Edmonton County were crowned borough champions.
The team as a whole played exceptionally well and should be extremely proud of their achievements this year in a very competitive league. We look forward to going all the way next year.”
