Clubs at Southgate - January 2017
Posted on: January 3rd 2017Southgate School has organised for Let Me Play Ltd (www.letmeplay.co.uk ) to deliver some specialist enrichment activities after school for year 7, 8, 9 and 10 students. Let Me Play is a sports, education and outreach organisation who run a range of programmes for young people aiming to provide opportunities and empower the youth.
The clubs which will be delivered from 3:15-4:15pm:
Monday- Fashion and Design in W16
Tuesday- Frisbee on the netball courts and Street Art in N9
Thursday- Dodgeball in the Sports Hall
Friday- Street Dance in the Main Hall
Free taster sessions for each activity will take place week commencing Monday 9th January so students can decide which club they would like to attend. Please be aware only 20 students per taster session can attend. Therefore if your son/daughter is interested they need to sign up with Miss Poullos in E49 as soon as possible. The dates for the taster sessions are:
Monday 9th: Fashion & Design in W16
Tuesday 10th: Frisbee on the netball courts
Wednesday 11th: Street Art in N9
Thursday 12th: Dodgeball in the Sports Hall
Friday 13th: Street Dance in the Main Hall
A letter will be handed to students with further information this week.
