Bollywood Brass Band
Posted on: November 17th 2017On Wednesday 15th November, 29 year 7 students took part in an engaging after school workshop run by the Bollywood Brass Band. Our students were treated to a short performance by the band, before joining them in a performance of 'Jai Oh' from Slumdog Millionaire. Small groups then created their own adventurous compositions which were performed in front the whole ensemble.
We're immensely proud of these students who have really excelled at a playing a brass instrument. None of them had played before the project began in September and they have made wonderful progress in just a few short weeks. We look forward very much to hearing them perform in our end of term concert on Thursday December 7th at 7pm.
