Year 7 Mayor's Writing Award
Posted on: April 27th 2018Gurkiran Duggal won the Year 7 Mayor’s Award for Writing last night at the finalists awards ceremony. His story ‘My Name is Echo’ was described by the judges as intriguing and lyrical. The competition attracted 1,600 entries from secondary schools across the borough. Gurkiran’s story was read out at the ceremony and the audience chuckled in appreciation of its warmth and humour. Well done Gurkiran.
