The Globe Players
Posted on: April 30th 2018Year 9 were treated to a performance of Macbeth by The Globe Players who visited the school on Friday. The company gave a compelling performance that gripped the attention of students and their English teachers. The performance was followed by a revealing question and answer sessions on topics ranging from ‘how do you learn your lines?’ to ‘how do you cope with kissing another actor on stage?’. Not only was this an enjoyable event, but one that will benefit the students as they begin studying it this term. Many thanks to the English Department for their support, and the PE Department for giving up the Sports Hall on such a rainy day.
